What is our Covid Policy?

All teachers, staff, and volunteers are fully vaccinated.  Students, staff,  and visitors will wear masks at ALL times in the classroom and on the playground.   Class will be held outside as much as weather conditions and air quality allow.  All activities where children tend to cluster will be modified.  There will be regular physically distanced food, water, and mask breaks throughout the day.  There will also be designated areas inside and outside for mask breaks.   We follow same Covid policy as Moscow School District – please follow this link for more information:  COVID-19 Information – Moscow School District #281 (msd281.org)

What are some of the most frequently asked questions for Miss Leeanne and Gold Mountain Community School?

How does enrollment work?

To enquire about available spots, please call, text, or email Miss Leeanne at 208-301-1608.  If there aren’t any immediate openings, you will be directed to fill out the online Admissions Form.  If there are available spots, you will be directed to fill out the Registration Form and send your check covering the $125 annual registration and $100 annual supply fees to Leeanne Noble, 621 Hathaway St., Moscow, ID 83843.  Once she receives your fees, you will be sent a confirmation of your spot.

What is the student to teacher ratio?

The student-teacher ratio is between 6-8 students per teacher.

Tell me about your food program?

During the morning and afternoon class, the students will prepare a nutritious snack with ingredients that are provided by the school.  Students who stay for the lunch hour must bring their own boxed lunch.

We take food allergies very seriously and will work closely with each individual family to create a plan of action tailored to that specific child’s needs.

My child is not vaccinated. Can he or she still attend Gold Mountain with an exemption form?

Due to the City of Moscow’s child care licensing requirements, unvaccinated children can only attend school if they provide a form signed by a medical doctor stating that receiving vaccinations would endanger their life.  There are no exemptions for personal or religious reasons.

What is your mask/vaccine policy during Covid-19?

We take Covid-19 precautions seriously. All of our staff and volunteers are vaccinated and will be masked.

We follow the most current and up-to-date CDC guidelines for childcare centers.
